ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:
AHA: act
as exfoliants which lift away these dead
skin cells and give the skin a healthier,
rejuvenated appearance. Continued use of
alpha hydroxy acids appears to stimulate new
cell growth, which over time can make the
skin appear more youthful and can encourage
tightening of the skin, which becomes lax
with age.
Lactic Acid:
(from sour milk) is an
alpha
hydroxy
acid. A natural pH modifier. Loosens and
dissolves dead skin cells from the skins
surface and helps regenerate new skin cells,
aids in the control of acne, smooth rough
dry skin, improves the texture of
sun-damaged and aging skin and retains the
moisture which leaves your skin healthy and
vibrant.
Coconut:
Coconut is a natural moisturizer that helps
maintain skin hydration and relieve scalp
dryness.
Xanthene Gum:
(bacterium from cabbage plants) a
stabilizer for emulsions and suspensions
Asparagopsis Armata:
(algae; from seaweed) is used as thickening
agents, water-binding agents, and
antioxidants.
Orris Root:
used primarily as a fragrant component due
to its violet-like scent. When applied to
the skin, it soothes and rebalances.
Lavender:Lavender
essential oil contains sedative and
anti-allergenic properties. Topically,
Lavender helps relieve musculo-skeletal pain
and inflammation and is rejuvenative to
skin.
Litsea Cubeba:
an uplifting and stimulating oil with
astringent, antiseptic, insecticide, hypotensive, stimulant and tonic healing
properties and may aid tissue toning and
reduction of cellulite. valued for its anti-
inflammatory and calming properties.
Geranium:
this ingredient provides astringent,
antiseptic, purifying and cleansing
qualities for skin treatments. The extracts
also help purify and leave scalp and skin
refreshed.
Zinc PCA:
controls sebum levels on the face to reduce
shine.
Vitamin E:
Vitamin E is a powerful anti-oxidant that
helps retard cellular aging associated with
free-radical damage. Protects the skin
against UV-induced inflammation and
maintains skin hydration. Regulates abnormal
proliferation of the superficial skin
layers. (Vitamin E is derived from soy.)
Vitamin A:
Vitamin A is necessary for the growth and
repair of body tissues and helps maintain
healthy skin integrity. Improves the
resistance of the skin and mucous membranes
to chemical and physical irritants and
protects against hypo- and
hyper-pigmentation. Essential nutrient for
retinal health and improves night vision.
Application:
Apply day and night. Massage with circular
movements. Remove with lukewarm damp
washcloth. Blot dry with towel, follow with
your DermaMed treatments.
